Galerie Dumonteil - New York is pleased to announce the first special
exhibition since our opening in late 2012. "Big Cats by Koller" will
run May 7th- June 7th at the Park Avenue Gallery. We have seen
tremendous enthusiasm for Koller's work in this expansive gallery
space. The event is being celebrated in five banners that will soon
appear along 57th street. We look forward to welcoming you.

For his first Photography Exhibition in China,
Galerie Dumonteil is pleased to present Eric Pillot's Works
Through his lyrical stage-setting and his tender and caring eye for the animals he photographs, Eric Pillot has erased the brutality of confinement and replaced it with a soft melancholy and a naturalist impression.
With contrasted colors or in powerful black & white, in addition to a sophisticated usage of light, the artist has completely transformed the prison environment into a strange mixture of Nature and Urbanism. As a result we are led to forget that the animals have been photographed in Europe's most beautiful zoos, and we are made to believe that the animals are roaming freely in our urban landscape. Not only they have conquered our living space, but larger than life they are glorified in all their animality.
This photography exhibition is the first of a series on the theme of nature and its contemporary representation.
